Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Poo Leg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Guerilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guerilla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Guerilla has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

It looks like Poo Leg has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guerilla decides to stand up, so the ref orders Leg to his feet.
Guerilla throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Leg tumbling to the canvas!

Guerilla wants to get up but he can't break Leg's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Guerilla connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Guerilla scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Leg throws a half hearted mid kick.
Leg fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guerilla to the ground. Leg is now in Guerilla's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guerilla wants to sweep here but Leg controlling him for the moment.
Leg wants to control from the top but Guerilla keeps moving.
Leg prevents Guerilla from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guerilla tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Guerilla is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Leg presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leg tries to close the distance and clinch but Guerilla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guerilla keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leg shoots in and drives through. Guerilla sprawls well.
Leg shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerilla manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Guerilla counters with a three punch combo that has Leg backing up. Leg nods at Guerilla to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Guerilla waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Leg. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Leg to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Guerilla wants to stand but Leg has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Guerilla stands and steps away. Leg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Guerilla works the jab nicely.
Joey Guerilla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leg wants to clinch
and Guerilla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guerilla throws a left that rocks Leg and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Guerilla dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Leg regain composure!
Oh Leg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guerilla decides to stand up, so the ref orders Leg to his feet.

Leg seems to have got his legs back now.
Guerilla connects with a jab.
Guerilla feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Legs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Guerilla connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Guerilla lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Leg head around and knocks him out cold! Guerilla hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Guerilla!
A relieved looking Joey Guerilla thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
