Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between boo moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koshi Tatsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). moo comes to the cage accompanied by Miles Davis - bye bye blackbird. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, boo moo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Koshi Tatsu!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has moo pinned against the cage. moo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice combo by moo! Oh, that's hurt him - Tatsu falls to the canvas and moo follows him into side control.

Tatsu is rocked!
Tatsu sneaks back into half guard.
Tatsu wants to improve his position but moo is controlling well.
moo is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Tatsu manages to get to full guard.
Tatsu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in moo's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
moo wants to stand up but Tatsu is controlling him.

Tatsu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
moo wants to stand up but Tatsu is controlling him.
moo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Tatsu is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
moo wants to get back to his feet but Tatsu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
moo can't keep his opponent in guard - Tatsu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tatsu is looking for a kimura but moo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tatsu to get the leverage.
Tatsu wants to take a breather but moo is having none of it.
moo looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tatsu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tatsu wants to pass to mount but moo is defending the position.

Tatsu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tatsu looks gassed!
moo wants to get back to his feet.
moo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tatsu on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tatsu prevents moo from improving his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Good exchange - moo coming out on top.
Tatsu dodges the punch combination from moo.
A combination from moo does no damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tatsu.

Tatsu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Tatsu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. moo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tatsu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. moo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tatsu lets go of the hold and moo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
