Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kuznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Karrikko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karrikko doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuznetsov circles away.
Kuznetsov misses with an uppercut. Karrikko saw that one coming.
Karrikko clinches up with Kuznetsov and pushes him back against the cage.
Karrikko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Karrikko tries to clinch there but Kuznetsov circles away.
Karrikko fails in his attempt to clinch.
Karrikko jabs at Kuznetsov's body.
Karrikko scores with a nice strike.

Karrikko tries a head kick but it misses.
Kuznetsov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Kuznetsov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Karrikko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kuznetsov goes for a double leg but Karrikko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Karrikko continues to drive forward.
Kuznetsov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Karrikko backwards.
Karrikko doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kuznetsov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Karrikko looks to land a combination but Kuznetsov avoids it well.
Kuznetsov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Karrikko on his heels. He'll look to pass Karrikko's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kuznetsov passes Karrikko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karrikko is trying to stand back up but Kuznetsov is controlling him

Kuznetsov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Karrikko regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kuznetsov.
