Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Seleznyov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seleznyov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard.
Jones is looking to control Seleznyov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?

Seleznyov wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Seleznyov seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.

Seleznyov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones regains full guard. Nicely done.

Jones has his foot on Seleznyov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seleznyov works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Seleznyov has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Seleznyov's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Seleznyov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Seleznyov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jones trying to control but Seleznyov is working from the bottom.

Seleznyov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Seleznyov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jones wants to control from the top but Seleznyov keeps moving.

Seleznyov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Seleznyov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jones rolls with it to try and escape but Seleznyov cranks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
