Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dark Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus closes the distance and pushes Moore back into the cage.
Lotus gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lotus is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moore has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lotus is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Moore is looking to control Lotus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moore avoid being mounted?

Moore is staying active underneath Lotus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lotus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lotus feints and as Moore raises his hands in defense, Lotus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moore tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lotus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moore is working away from the top position though.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Moore has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lotus is proving hard to escape from.

Dark Lotus has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lotus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Moore looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Moore looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Moore!

Lotus breaks Moore's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Moore wants to stand but Lotus is controlling the position.
Lotus stands and steps away. Moore gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lotus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lotus lands in his opponent's guard.

Dark Lotus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Lotus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moore tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lotus is in Moore's guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dark Lotus wasn't active enough on the ground.

Lotus won't allow Moore to sweep him here.
Lotus throws an elbow that misses. Moore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lotus's guard. Nice move by Moore!

Lotus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dark Lotus was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Lotus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Moore wants to stand up but Lotus is controlling him.
Lotus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dark Lotus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Moore enables Lotus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moore manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lotus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moore swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dark Lotus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lotus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
