Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julle Koso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julle Koso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julle Koso!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koso misses with a hook. Reid ducked under it nicely.
Koso lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reid circles away quickly and effectively.
Koso jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A chopping leg kick lands by Koso.
Reid shoots in but no luck this time.
Reid blocks the body kick.
Koso throws a right hand that Reid ducks under and follows up with a left that Reid also avoids with ease.
Reid staying out of range there.

Koso gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reid to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Reid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reid stops Koso from standing up.
Reid throws a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Koso wants to stand up but Reid is controlling him.
Reid trying to control the position from guard on top but Koso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koso swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Koso is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reid is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Good shot there by Koso.
Koso fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Reid scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Koso wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Reid misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koso can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reid is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Koso's half guard.
Koso looks like he's trying to stand up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Koso defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reid.
Reid throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Koso.
Koso shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Reid eats them both and turns towards Koso to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reid is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Koso defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reid.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Koso throws an overhand right that drops Reid like a sack of potatoes! Koso dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
