The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mexico takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mexico throws a hook but Wallace Jr blocks it.
Mexico dives in for a single leg takedown but Wallace Jr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Wallace Jr lands a body punch in the clinch.
Wallace Jr lands a right hand.
Mexico jumps guard but Wallace Jr stands there with Mexico around his waist. Mexico gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wallace Jr.
Mexico has Wallace Jr pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wallace Jr manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
