Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paskal Aubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carrick Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Chulainn breaks from the clinch.
Aubin tries a head kick but it misses.
Chulainn clinches up with Aubin and pushes him back against the cage.
Aubin tries to throw a body punch but Chulainn avoids it by throwing Aubin back against the cage.
Aubin is trying to break the clinch but Chulainn is controlling him.
Aubin can't find room to land a body shot as Chulainn controls the action.
Chulainn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've been told by Aubin's head coaches at WarZone Training Facility 1 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Chulainn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aubin on his heels. He'll look to pass Aubin's guard now, I'm sure.
Aubin wants to stand and escape but Chulainn is having none of it.

Aubin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Chulainn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Aubin gets tackled into the cage by Chulainn. Chulainn maintains the clinch.

Paskal Aubin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aubin throws a right and a left that Chulainn avoids nicely.

Chulainn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Aubin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chulainn is in Aubin's guard.
Aubin wants to stand and escape but Chulainn is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aubin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chulainn's elbow.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Aubin.
Chulainn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Chulainn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chulainn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aubin, pushing him back against the cage.
Chulainn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Aubin uses from the top position.

Chulainn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Aubin tries to kick Chulainn off in order to stand up. Chulainn Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chulainn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Aubin down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carrick Chulainn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chulainn postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Aubin looks a forlorn figure.
