The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stall scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Teseu Nogueira has been cut.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown but Stall shows good takedown defense.
Nogueira fails with a takedown attempt.

Dan Stall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teseu Nogueira.
Stall throws a leg kick but Nogueira sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nogueira shoots in but Stall avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nogueira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nogueira is defended easily by Stall.

Stall's corner calls for a 1-2. Stall obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nogueira checks a leg kick.

Nogueira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stall defends it nicely.
Stall uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stall lands a left and a right that send Nogueira crashing to the mat, dazed. Stall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nogueira dives in and grabs Stall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stall pushes down on Nogueira's head and hops out.
