Morgan comes into the arena with The Greatest Man That Ever Lived blaring out of the sound system. Justin Morgan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cube comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cube lands a lovely overhand right.

Morgan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cube is trying to improve his position.
Morgan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Cube tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Morgan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morgan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cube for as long as he can get away with.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morgan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cube cracks Morgan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Cube throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morgan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Morgan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Morgan moves in looking to clinch but Cube pushes him off.

Cube tries to work over Morgan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Morgan wants the takedown. Cube is fighting it off but Morgan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cube's guard against the cage.

Cube tries to sprawl but Morgan drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Morgan lands a nice short elbow.
Cube is trying to maintain the position but Morgan is very close to passing his half guard.

Morgan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cube doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Morgan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Morgan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cube is trying to defend but Morgan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Morgan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morgan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cube is just riding it out for now. Morgan eventually gives up the hold.

Morgan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cube's guard.
