The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Elliott lands but Dogg takes it in his stride.
Elliott definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dogg takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Elliott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dogg shoots in but no luck this time.
An inside leg kick lands from Elliott.
Elliott moves out of range of the body kick from Dogg.
Elliott cracks Dogg with a right hand to the side of the head.
Elliott thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dogg if he has to take too many more of those.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dogg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Elliott tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Dogg working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Elliott looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dogg! Submission of the night perhaps?
