PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Ruane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolphin Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck cracks Ruane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Neck misses with a straight right.
Ruane has a takedown stuffed.
Ruane tries to clinch but Neck moves away

and Neck counters by moving into the clinch.

Ruane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Neck just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ruane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Neck, as that shot connected.

Neck leaves Ruane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ruane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Neck's waist but Neck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruane off to one side.

Neck feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ruane sprawling to the canvas! Ruane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Neck finish him?!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ruane. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Ruane walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Neck! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
