Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manos De Piedra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Ulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Piedra moves into the clinch.
Ulo jumps guard but De Piedra turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Ulo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Piedra darts in looking for a takedown but Ulo gets double underhooks and turns De Piedra into the cage.

Ulo throws a strike but De Piedra rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Horrible takedown by De Piedra or perhaps it was just good defense by Ulo which made him look bad.

Ulo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks De Piedra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

De Piedra is working an open guard so Ulo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Teddy Ulo was stalling too much, according to the referee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Manos De Piedra will probably get the nod.

De Piedra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ulo circles away quickly and effectively.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from De Piedra lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ulo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ulo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for De Piedra, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Manos De Piedra was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
