The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Specialist drives through with a takedown into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Wrestling Specialist hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Specialist gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Watson gets through Specialist's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Watson jumps guard but Specialist stands there with Watson around his waist. Watson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Specialist escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Watson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Watson has gone for a leg lock! Specialist slips out almost immediately though and dives into Watson's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Specialist accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like Specialist might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Watson wants to get back to his feet but Specialist is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Wrestling Specialist has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Specialist closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

and Specialist counters with a big slam. Watson looks out but Specialist is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Watson from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
