The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond lands a head shot.
Specialist closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Specialist lands in his opponent's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bond managing to control the position.
Specialist trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bond has his feet on Specialist's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bond enables Specialist to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bond manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Specialist wanted to stand there but Bond had control of the position.

Specialist stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bond has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Specialist manages to get his head free but now Bond has transitioned to an armbar! Specialist grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bond! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
