The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bocus gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Seo tries to score a body lock takedown but Bocus shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Seo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bocus smiles and moves away.
Bocus is looking to clinch but Seo is avoiding it.
Seo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Coca Bocus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jisuk Seo.
Bocus wants to clinch up but Seo keeps it at a distance.

Seo jumps guard but Bocus turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Seo's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Seo drags the fight down to the ground.
Bocus tries to free his leg and advance position but Seo is retaining full guard.
Seo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bocus wanted to stand there but Seo had control of the position.

Seo is breathing heavily.
Bocus looking to sit in guard and control but Seo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Seo is in close to Bocus's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Seo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bocus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bocus wants to control the position but Seo says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Seo is trying to control the action in half guard but Bocus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Seo wants to work for an arm triangle but Bocus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Seo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bocus defend it? Seo steps over the head and cranks it - Bocus is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Seo!
