George is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Popular-Nada Surf. Matt Chiasson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chiasson throws out the jab.
Chiasson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
George gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Chiasson throws out a powerful jab.
Chiasson lands a glancing blow to the side of George's head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from George lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chiasson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chiasson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Chiasson throws a lazy right hand but George sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
George takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chiasson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Chiasson looks to land a combination. George sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Chiasson missing with a left hand there. George was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
George takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

A head kick by Chiasson misses

and George moves into the clinch.

George jumps into guard, dragging Chiasson to the mat.

Chiasson got a little sloppy there for a moment and George has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chiasson has managed to get both his arms back between George's legs - danger averted.

George slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Chiasson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for George on the ground.

George is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chiasson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to George's body to avoid the submission. George has instead reached around Chiasson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! George arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Paul George!
Paul George looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'You people may not know my name, but you better get used to hearing it. I will beast any 155 pounder in Barbarian. Pepe, White, Silva, Granger, Roro, Sierra there is a new dog on the block. Brace yourselves'.
