The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Murdoch thows a body shot but no joy.

Murdoch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Doe to the mat! Doe manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Murdoch engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Doe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dean Murdoch wasn't active enough on the ground.
Doe takes a kick to the side of the head.
Doe throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Murdoch stumbling backwards into the cage! Murdoch bounces back off the cage towards Doe, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Doe lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Doe celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
