And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darios Ellis!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellis looking to score a takedown here. Flood is defending well but Ellis drives through and ends up in Flood's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ellis avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Darios Ellis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Flood shoots in looking for a takedown but Ellis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Flood's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ellis is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Flood drops back looking for a leg! Ellis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ellis manages to kick Flood off! Flood jumps back into Ellis's guard.

Ellis moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ellis tries to clinch but Flood is having none of it.
Flood shoots in for a double leg but Ellis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Flood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ellis avoids it really well and circles away.

Ellis throws a right and a left that Flood avoids nicely.

Ellis feints and as Flood raises his hands in defense, Ellis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ellis trying to control but Flood is working from the bottom.
Ellis is breathing heavily.
Ellis is looking to stand up but Flood won't let him.

Ellis is sitting in close to Flood's body. Flood has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ellis is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ellis is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Flood.
