The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wukong is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Silva's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wukong is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Silva prevents Wukong from standing back up.
Wukong wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wukong might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silva haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tanaka Wukong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wukong quickly recovers to half guard.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Wukong is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Wukong slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wukong looking for a sweep. Not yet Wukong, not yet.

Silva is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wukong has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Silva is looking to defend but Wukong has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Silva! Wukong pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silva taps out and this one is all over!
