The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Holland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Holland throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.
Jones tries to score with a low kick but Holland moves his leg out of the way.
Holland works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Holland holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Holland stops a takedown attempt from Jones.
Bradly Holland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Jones.

Holland decides to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jones won't allow Holland to get back to his feet.
Holland being controlled here, momentarily.
Holland lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!

Jones prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Holland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Holland wants to finish this one by submission but Jones is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Holland.
Jones is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones wants to control but Holland is having none of it.
Holland lands a big elbow.
Jones holds on, trying desperately to control.
Holland lands a nice shot to the head.
Holland really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones tries to lock up and control but Holland gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Holland has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jones tries to improve his position but Holland has taken his back! Holland has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jones tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Holland pushes Jones away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
