Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Cunningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Rampage!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rampage shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cunningham pushes Rampage off looking to stand but Rampage dives back in and keeps control.

Rampage is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cunningham sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cunningham is staying active underneath Rampage, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jackson Rampage has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rampage shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cunningham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cunningham is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rampage is controlling him well.

Cunningham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Cunningham counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rampage's guard now.
Cunningham is breathing heavily.
Rampage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cunningham!
Cunningham is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rampage throwing strikes here but Cunningham is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Rampage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Rampage swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cunningham is now in Rampage's guard. A big mistake from Rampage there, giving up the dominant position!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cunningham would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rampage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cunningham, pushing him back against the cage.
Cunningham has Rampage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rampage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cunningham jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rampage walks away with a smile on his face. Cunningham gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rampage drives through with a takedown into Cunningham's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Rampage shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cunningham eats them both and turns towards Rampage to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Daniel Cunningham has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rampage feints and as Cunningham raises his hands in defense, Rampage changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jackson Rampage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Rampage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cunningham has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Rampage is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Rampage has Cunningham pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rampage pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cunningham tumbling to the mat - Rampage dives into Cunningham's guard.
Cunningham will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rampage gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cunningham enables Rampage to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cunningham manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cunningham gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rampage to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rampage lands a nice hook to Cunningham's body. Cunningham takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rampage drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Cunningham has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rampage is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cunningham.
Rampage is looking to take a break and control but Cunningham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cunningham is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rampage asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Well Rampage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
