Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morton Noble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Zarubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarubin wants to clinch up but Noble keeps it at a distance.
Zarubin throws a wild body kick that Noble sees coming a mile off.
Zarubin drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zarubin throws a series of punches but Noble avoids them all with ease.

Zarubin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noble sprawls well initially but Zarubin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zarubin connects with a nice short shot to Noble's temple.
Zarubin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Noble doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zarubin.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zarubin misses with a jab, cross combination.

Zarubin drives through with a takedown into Noble's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Noble enables Zarubin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Noble manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Andrei Zarubin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Noble's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Zarubin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Noble manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Noble can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zarubin controls the pace.
Zarubin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Noble manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Zarubin manages to get himself to full guard.
Zarubin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Noble is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zarubin.

Noble tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Noble has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Andrei Zarubin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zarubin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
