Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isaias Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Radford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radford thows a left - swing and a miss!
Radford throws a hook but Monroe avoids it easily.
Radford closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Radford seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monroe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Radford drops an elbow to the side of Monroe's head.
Monroe wants to get back to his feet.
Monroe really is a fat lump.
Radford is looking to advance position but Monroe won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Radford postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Monroe looks a forlorn figure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Radford swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Monroe is now in Radford's guard. A big mistake from Radford there, giving up the dominant position!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Radford can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Monroe is looking to escape.
Radford has hold of Monroe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Monroe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Monroe is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Radford jumps into side control!
