The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacTavish's hands are dropping dangerously low here and West connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! MacTavish scrambles back to his feet.
West fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
MacTavish throws an ugly left hook that misses

and West counters by clinching up.
MacTavish goes for a takedown in the clinch but West prevents it.
West lands a right hand that snaps the head of MacTavish backwards.

It looks like John MacTavish has been cut.
MacTavish is trying to break free.
MacTavish's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
MacTavish wants to break free but West has control.
West keeps the fight in the clinch, despite MacTavish's efforts to push away.
West has MacTavish pressed against the cage, preventing MacTavish from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

MacTavish pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
West lands with a nice combination. MacTavish backs away looking to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
West defending well as MacTavish loads up on a big left hand.

West throws a right and a left that MacTavish avoids nicely.
West connects with a body shot.
West works MacTavish's body with a nice hook.

West drops MacTavish with a beautiful combination! MacTavish stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - West is looking for the KO!
