Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jefferey Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre De Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre De Oliveira will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from De Oliveira misses its intended target.

Hoffman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That was a close round but I would say that Jefferey Hoffman will probably get the nod.

De Oliveira tries to bum rush Hoffman with a series of wild strikes but Hoffman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

De Oliveira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoffman tries to avoid it but De Oliveira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoffman to the ground. Hoffman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hoffman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
De Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up with Hoffman, looking for a takedown. De Oliveira pushes Hoffman against the cage but Hoffman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

De Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoffman sprawls well. Hoffman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet.

De Oliveira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoffman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
