Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Per Johansson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson throws out a leg kick but Mckenzie moves out of range and Johansson only half commits.
Johansson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mckenzie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Johansson looking to sit in guard and control but Mckenzie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mckenzie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Johansson's head.
Mckenzie postures up and lands a big shot to Johansson's brow.
Johansson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckenzie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mckenzie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mckenzie postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Johansson is looking to stand back up but Mckenzie counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Johansson.
Mckenzie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Johansson is looking to improve his position.
Mckenzie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johansson defend it? Mckenzie steps over the head and cranks it - Johansson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mckenzie!
