The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Starstryder.

Rodriguez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Starstryder works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Rodriguez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Starstryder has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rodriguez is looking to defend but Starstryder has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rodriguez! Starstryder pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rodriguez taps out and this one is all over!
