The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luchador misses with a takedown
enabling Sinner to counter with a crisp jab.
Luchador shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sinner sprawls well. Sinner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Luchador gets slowly back to his feet.
Sinner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sinner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Luchador in his tracks.
Luchador really is a fat lump.

Luchador closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sinner circles away.
Luchador shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sinner pinned against the cage. Sinner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Luchador is breathing heavily.

Luchador dives in for a single leg takedown but Sinner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Sinner tries to break free but Luchador pushes him back against the cage.
Sinner wants to get back to striking at distance but Luchador won't allow it.

Sinner breaks the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Luchador.
Luchador fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sinner jabs Luchador right on the nose. Luchador blinks but takes it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shimmy Sinner dominated that round.

Luchador tries to get into range but Sinner steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Luchador! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Sinner scores the big KO victory!
