Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 26 - 1, fighting out of London, Keast Kann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daiju Kikuchi!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kann throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kikuchi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kikuchi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kann stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kikuchi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kikuchi stuffs the takedown attempt from Kann. Kann gets slowly back to his feet.
Kann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kikuchi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kann on the side of the head.
Kann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kann connects with a nice looking jab.
Kann just misses with a punch to the body.
Kann connects with a single shot there.
Kann misses with a hook to the body
and Kikuchi counters with a body kick.

Kikuchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kann moves away.

Kann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Our spies down at at Sali inform us that Kikuchi has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kikuchi holds on and takes a little breather.
Keast Kann overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kann postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Kikuchi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
