The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belokrilov shoots and misses

and Starseed moves into the clinch.
Starseed keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Belokrilov's efforts to push away.
Belokrilov lands a right hand.
Starseed keeps control of Belokrilov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Belokrilov tries to break free but Starseed pushes him back against the cage.

Starseed breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Belokrilov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Starseed checks it well.
Starseed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Starseed counters with a shoot takedown. Belokrilov fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Starseed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belokrilov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Belokrilov misses with a takedown attempt - Starseed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Belokrilov feints a jab promting Starseed to slip. Belokrilov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Starseed slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Belokrilov gets caught flat footed, as Starseed shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Belokrilov is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
