Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Ivanic!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craft misses with a straight left.

Ivanic gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Craft is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ivanic is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Craft is squirming around, avoiding Ivanic's attempts to control the action.
Craft bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Well, if Ivanic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

and Craft counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Craft pushes Ivanic off looking to stand but Ivanic dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Ivanic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Craft swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Ivanic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ivanic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Craft manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ivanic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Craft throws a series of punches but Ivanic moves out of range.
Craft misses with a straight right.
Ivanic checks the leg kick nicely there.
Craft throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Craft throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Craft is trying to keep Ivanic in close.

Craft manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Craft has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Craft jumps guard but Ivanic turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ivanic stops a takedown attempt from Craft.
Craft tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ivanic just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ivanic is trying to trip Craft. He has hold of a leg but Craft is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ivanic persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ivan Ivanic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Craft flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Well Ivanic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
