Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Pegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Jon Pegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pegas circles away quickly and effectively.

Jordan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pegas to score with a decent uppercut.
Pegas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jordan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pegas sends Jordan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pegas is motioning to the referee to let Jordan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jordan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pegas can pounce on him.

Jordan seems to have got his legs back now.

Jordan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pegas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Pegas is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

and Pegas counters by clinching up.
Jordan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pegas lands an elbow that stopped Jordan in his tracks for a moment.
Pegas comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Pegas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A left lands for Pegas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pegas has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Pegas. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Nice uppercut lands for Jordan. That snapped Pegas's head back.

Pegas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oooooh!!! Pegas has knocked Jordan down with a huge combo! Pegas steps away and waves a wobbly Jordan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jordan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pegas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pegas throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Jordan crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
