Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ignac Jenes!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenes takes the fight into the clinch.

Jenes jumps into guard, dragging Snow to the mat.
Snow content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Snow throws an elbow that misses. Jenes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Snow's guard. Nice move by Jenes!
Snow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jenes tries to free his leg and advance position but Snow is retaining full guard.
Jenes showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Snow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenes is one step ahead there.
Jenes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Ignac Jenes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Snow is looking to clinch.

Jenes closes the distance and clinches up with Snow, looking for a takedown. Jenes pushes Snow against the cage but Snow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jenes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Snow pushes Jenes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jenes dives in for a single leg takedown but Snow sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jenes is trying to drag Snow to the mat but Snow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mickey Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ignac Jenes.

Jenes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Snow can't fight it off and eventually Jenes manages to take the fight to the floor. Snow looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Snow can't keep his opponent in guard - Jenes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jenes blocks the strikes from Snow.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Snow is looking to get back to full guard here but Jenes has managed to pass to side control instead.
Snow is trying to control Jenes's posture but Jenes avoids it.
Snow tries to improve position but can't.
Jenes controls the position.
Jenes lands a nice forearm strike.
Jenes tries to stand but Snow is controlling his head.
Snow trying to remain calm as Jenes controls from the top position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Snow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jenes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jenes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jenes trying to control but Snow is having none of it.
Jenes lands a big shot there that rocks Snow but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Snow is desperately trying to improve his position but Jenes has a good base and remains in mount.
Jenes fails to take his opponent's back.
Jenes controlling from the full mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snow is looking to get to half guard.

Jenes darts in looking for a takedown but Snow gets double underhooks and turns Jenes into the cage.

Snow manages to break the clinch.
Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jenes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Snow pushes Jenes up against the cage in a clinch.
Snow gets underhooks to prevent Jenes's takedown attempt.

Jenes pulls guard successfully.
Snow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jenes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenes has wrist control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jenes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jenes swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Snow is now in Jenes's guard. A big mistake from Jenes there, giving up the dominant position!

Jenes has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Snow clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Snow trying to control the position but Jenes manages to sink in the hooks.

Jenes is trying to stick to Snow's back but Snow is turning into Jenes. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jenes's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Snow.
Snow is fighting to break Jenes's control of his arms but Jenes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jenes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Snow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Jenes decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jenes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Snow's guard.

Jenes is looking to stand up but Snow won't let him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ignac Jenes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jenes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
