PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenton Solis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bradley Cooper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Solis's guard.
Cooper throwing strikes from guard but Solis blocks nicely.
Cooper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Solis is keeping the position for now.
Solis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Cooper connects with a couple of short punches.
Solis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cooper throws an elbow that misses. Solis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cooper's guard. Nice move by Solis!
Solis wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving.
Cooper is trying to keep Solis in close.
Solis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cooper punching from the bottom - just letting Solis know he's still in a fight.

Solis wants to get up but he can't break Cooper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Solis looking to sit in guard and control but Cooper gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Solis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cooper.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cooper's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Solis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cooper throws a big elbow that misses.
Cooper distracts Solis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cooper content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Solis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cooper arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Solis's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
