The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ivanov moves into the clinch successfully.
Washburn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ivanov tries to stall but Washburn uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ivanov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Washburn.
Washburn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ivanov walks away with a smile on his face. Washburn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've been hearing reports that Washburn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
