Cruz misses with a head kick.
Cruz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rodriguez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rodriguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cruz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodriguez is retaining full guard.
Cruz wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Rodriguez's closed guard. He's half up but Rodriguez has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Rodriguez pivots and extends the arm, Cruz falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Rodriguez! Well done that man!
