Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keef Kahliffa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Hermit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hermit clinches up against the cage.

Hermit has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kahliffa is trying to keep an underhook but Hermit manages to get the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Hermit is trying to work for a kimura but Kahliffa is defending well.

Hermit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kahliffa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hermit on the ground.
Hermit is keen to just control but Kahliffa is a slippery customer.
Hermit working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hermit lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hermit is nestled in close to Kahliffa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kahliffa is breathing heavily.
Hermit takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Kahliffa is rocked!

Hermit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oh Kahliffa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hermit passes the guard and advances to mount!
Kahliffa seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kahliffa takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hermit's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
