The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snooka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Judge paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Judge tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Snooka is able to avoid easily.
Judge stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Judge wants it to stay on the feet.

Judge moves into the clinch successfully.
Snooka tries to score a body lock takedown but Judge shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Judge manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Judge lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Snooka tries to keep at a distance but Judge has taken the fight into the clinch.

Judge drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Snooka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Judge has Snooka in his guard.

After the fight, Barney Judge was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
