The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bob fails with a takedown attempt.
Karlsson throws a combination. Bob tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Karlsson moves into the clinch.
Bob blocks an elbow strike from Karlsson.
Bob drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Karlsson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Karlsson works on Bob's body with a couple of short punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Karlsson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Karlsson.
Horrible takedown by Bob or perhaps it was just good defense by Karlsson which made him look bad.

Karlsson is trying to break the clinch but Bob is controlling him.
Karlsson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bob is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Karlsson is defending well.

Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Karlsson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Karlsson enables Bob to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Karlsson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Karlsson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bob presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Karlsson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bob's elbow.

Bob escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bob shoots in but Karlsson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

I would just about give that final round to Leif Karlsson.
