PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baging Roner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Gunnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leif Gunnar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Gunnar finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

No joy there for Roner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gunnar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roner's waist but Roner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunnar off to one side.

Gunnar lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Gunnar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Roner knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Roner for a finish.

Gunnar has picked Roner up - he's going for a ride! Gunnar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Gunnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Gunnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
