Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bentley Tessin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander's entrance music is Dirt off your Shoulers. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bentley Tessin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Alexander throws a body punch but Tessin moves out of range.
Tessin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alexander pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tessin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tessin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alexander has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tessin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alexander manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tessin has Alexander in his guard.

Tessin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alexander stacks Tessin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alexander!

Alexander has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tessin doesn't defend quickly enough and Alexander has managed to lock this one up! Can Tessin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Alexander on a fantastic submission victory.
