Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids the body shot from James.
James dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
James breaks from the clinch.
James slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones scores with a one two! James had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
James throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones controlling from the top position.
Jones passes into half guard.
James is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! James is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jon Jones!
Jon Jones was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
