Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neville Strickland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Matusow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strickland slaps away a takedown attempt from Matusow, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mike Matusow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matusow lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Neville Strickland has been cut.
Matusow ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Matusow is defended easily by Strickland.
Strickland looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Matusow!
Matusow sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matusow is looking to control Strickland's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Matusow avoid being mounted?
Matusow regains full guard. Nicely done.
Strickland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Matusow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Strickland defends well.

Matusow manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Matusow goes for an armbar but Strickland turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Strickland.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matusow is on top in guard.

Matusow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matusow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Strickland might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Matusow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Strickland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matusow on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matusow is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Strickland is trying to escape the mount but Matusow keeps good control and instead manages to take Strickland's back.

Matusow is landing with strikes from the back.
Matusow is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Strickland won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Matusow off his unconscious opponent!
