Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diego Godin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Te Rauparaha!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godin takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rauparaha throws a body punch but Godin moves out of range.
Rauparaha throws a hook but Godin avoids it easily.
Rauparaha ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rauparaha lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Godin misses with a low kick.

and Rauparaha counters with a left to the body.
Godin tries to land a leg kick but Rauparaha saw it coming and moves away.
Godin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rauparaha.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rauparaha goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Godin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rauparaha is able to avoid easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rauparaha lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Godin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Godin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rauparaha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Godin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
