Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Farland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Farland's choice of entrance music: NickelBack - How you Remind Me. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farland looks to land a combination. Gordon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Derek Gordon has been cut.
Farland throws a combination that misses
and Gordon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Farland!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gordon tries for a kimura but Farland is defending well.
Farland wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Gordon stands up and beckons Farland to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gordon feints and as Farland raises his hands in defense, Gordon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Farland is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gordon is controlling him.

Gordon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gordon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Farland wants to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here as Gordon stalls from top position.
Gordon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gordon moves into full mount!

Farland is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Farland's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gordon content just to control the position here.
Gordon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Derek Gordon will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gordon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Farland wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gordon tries to pull guard but Farland forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Gordon keeps control of Farland as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gordon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Farland wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Farland throws a body punch but Gordon moves out of range.
Gordon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Gordon is looking to advance position but Farland has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Derek Gordon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Farland wants to get back to his feet but Gordon is holding on tight.
Gordon wants to control but Farland is having none of it.

Farland gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Gordon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Farland darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gordon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Farland has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Farland and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Derek Gordon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gordon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Farland misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Farland falls off balance throwing a combination
so Gordon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gordon forces his way into half guard.
Gordon is looking to advance position but Farland won't allow it.
Gordon prevents Farland from standing back up.
Gordon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Farland defend it? Gordon steps over the head and cranks it - Farland is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gordon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Derek Gordon!
In defeat, Tim Farland stepped up to the mic, saying 'Credit where credit is due.... you did a great job rigging the fight so the better fighter lost!'.
