The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuominen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tuominen shoots for a takedown but Sei saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sei tries to clinch up.

Tuominen drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sei keeping moving, preventing Tuominen from controlling successfully.

Tuominen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sei looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sei throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Sei tries to strike from the bottom.
Sei wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tuominen manages to pass to side control.

Tuominen decides to stand up.
The fighters circling - Sei throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sei tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sei scores with a hook.
Sei rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tuominen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tuominen keeps the fight on the outside.
Sei tries to clinch up but Tuominen circles away and keeps his distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tuominen avoids a punch combination nicely.

Tuominen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sei looks gassed!

Tuominen has hold of Sei's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sei tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tuominen cranks the arm and Sei screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sei, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
