Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Callaghan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Callaghan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Callaghan stands up from Dront's guard - Callaghan perhaps looking for a knockout.
Callaghan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Callaghan feints and as Dront raises his hands in defense, Callaghan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Callaghan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dront is keeping the position for now.
Dront not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Callaghan trying to control the position from guard on top but Dront is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Callaghan is breathing heavily.
Dront not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Callaghan wants to pass the guard but Dront is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dront displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Callaghan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dront jabs Callaghan right on the nose. Callaghan blinks but takes it well.
Callaghan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dront throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Callaghan stumbling backwards into the cage! Callaghan bounces back off the cage towards Dront, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Dront lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Dront celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
