The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaufman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kaufman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bentley circles away.

A swing and a miss from Bentley.
Kaufman closes the distance and clinches up with Bentley, looking for a takedown. Kaufman pushes Bentley against the cage but Bentley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kaufman throws a head kick that misses.

Bentley looks to land a right hand but Kaufman moved out of range.

Kaufman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bentley as he jumps to the side.
Kaufman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bentley tries to avoid it but Kaufman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bentley to the ground. Bentley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kaufman misses with a head kick.
Kaufman tries to keep at a distance but Bentley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bentley lands a nice elbow.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bentley.
Kaufman is rocked!
Kaufman is pressed against the cage. Bentley pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Kaufman! Two more big strikes from Bentley and Kaufman crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Pete Bentley!
After winning the bout, Pete Bentley thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
