Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wade Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton The Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Quick is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Higher. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sapp.
We've been hearing reports that Sapp has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sapp fails with the takedown
and The Quick counters with a solid body kick.
Sapp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Quick tries to avoid it but Sapp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Quick to the ground. The Quick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Sapp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sapp.
